Iceland
I have always been attracted by the kind of “end of the world”, desolated landscapes. I had the occasion to travel across Iceland during a 3 week non organized trek we took in 2003 with my to-become wife Valérie. We wandered freely through the amazing Icelandic landscapes without a schedule. And this freedom gave me the opportunity to capture some magic moments I thought I’d share on this website. I can’t wait to go back to Iceland to try and photograph more desolated landscape I if I get luck, why not, the northern lights.
Venice
Venice is a wonder of the world to my eyes. But since it is so popular, it is very difficult to bring home nice pictures of the city. Tourists are all over the place and it only got worse with time. I had the opportunity to visit Venice in December once. There were no tourists and since I git lucky with the weather, the light was just perfect. I highly recommend to visit this wonderful city outside of the main holiday seasons.
